For Local Authorities
- About Safehouses North - We are a small, well established fostering agency based in the North West, with easy access to Manchester and West Yorkshire.
- What Safehouses Offers - As an agency, Safehouses aims to work very much in partnership with local authorities in order to provide a wide range of placement provision and to extend the options available for Looked After Children.
- Our Positive Outcomes - Historically, Looked After Children have under-achieved in many areas - most noticeably in the field of education. Safehouses North - through our association with The National Teaching & Advisory Service (NT&AS) - not only provide children and young people with safe, secure and nurturing family placements but also offer Looked After Children the educational input, support and backup which promotes inclusion and high achievement.
